A resident of Ontario, Canada, picked up five kittens and a dog curled up around them on the side of the road, according to usa.one.
The shivering dog tried to warm the helpless babies with his warmth. The woman picked up the animals in her car and took them to a shelter. At the moment, their lives are not in danger.
It is unknown whether the rescued animals had known each other before they found themselves in the cold, but they formed a strong bond. According to the shelter staff, the dog constantly asks to be allowed to the cat kids and behaves like a caring mother.
