Video footage shot by an eyewitness was published on the YouTube channel of the Kruger National Park.
A couple of lions noticed a wild boar carcass left by a leopard in the branches of a high tree.
The lion skillfully climbed up the trunk to the desired treatment and several times tried to get it out of the branches with her teeth, but her efforts were unsuccessful. Probably, the boar carcass was too heavy, so the predatory cat had to jump down and return to the lion without prey.
