The Canadian helped the deer on the ice

A man from Ontario came to the rescue of a pair of ungulates who could not get out of the ice trap on their own.

While skating on a frozen lake, Canadian Ryan Peterson noticed three lying deer. The animals could not climb on their own because of the slippery surface of the reservoir.

The man tied up the animals in trouble with a rope and dragged them to the shore. Rescued ungulates did not immediately stand on their feet: Ryan had to push them slightly with a stick. Feeling the hard soil, forest dwellers hid in the thickets.
